In an interview with Forbes, Infocredit Group CEO Theodoros Kringou explains how the Group maintains data integrity, transparency and security across a diverse global client base — and why 2025 will be defined by the convergence of credit risk, regulatory compliance and cybersecurity.

Theodoros Kringou, CEO of Infocredit Group, emphasises in an interview with Forbes that “strategic partnerships with industry leaders like LexisNexis and Mastercard’s RiskRecon allow us to stay on the cutting edge of cybersecurity and compliance innovation”.

He also points out that “one of the biggest challenges is ensuring data integrity and security consistency across a broad spectrum of regulatory environments and industries. Our clients range from global banks and regulators to agile fintech and public sector entities, each with their own expectations and risk tolerance. We’ve invested in a robust digital infrastructure powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning that continuously monitors and secures our data flows to meet these needs”.

Data integrity, transparency and trust

Beyond the technical layer, this is about trust. Transparency sits at the core of everything the Group does — from how data is sourced to how decisions are made — with the goal of creating a reliable, resilient ecosystem clients can depend on, especially in uncertain times.

Intelligent curation at scale

Scale alone isn’t enough — it’s about intelligent curation. The Group doesn’t just collect data; it enriches and contextualises it, with industry-specialised internal teams tailoring insights to each sector’s specific risk exposure and regulatory obligations.

Banking and insurance clients often require deeper due diligence and real-time updates, while SMEs and commercial clients may prioritise accessibility, cost-effectiveness and local insight — a flexible platform combines automation with human expertise to deliver precision at scale.

Speaking each industry’s language of risk

Customisation is key: platforms such as ComplianceSuite were designed with modularity, allowing clients to configure features based on their sector’s risk landscape and regulatory pressure points.

In highly regulated markets like financial services and gaming, the Group offers enhanced due diligence, real-time AML monitoring and automated onboarding tools. For public sector and government institutions, the focus is on supplier risk, beneficial ownership transparency and ethical procurement.

“Every industry has its language of risk. Our job is to speak it fluently and provide solutions that feel purpose-built, not off-the-shelf,” notes Mr Kringou.

The risks reshaping 2025

2025 will be defined by convergence — where credit risk, regulatory compliance and cybersecurity no longer operate in silos but must be managed holistically, with increased pressure around AI transparency, digital identity verification and geopolitical risk exposure.

Key focus areas include explainable AI in credit scoring and AML algorithms — clients must understand why a decision was made, not just accept the result — and cross-border compliance, where fragmentation between jurisdictions can cause operational strain.

A culture of disciplined innovation

Innovation at Infocredit Group is a discipline embedded in its culture: a startup mindset encouraging experimentation, continuous feedback and fast iteration — through pilot programmes, client co-creation and a regulatory sandbox approach — combined with strong governance.

“We see ourselves not just as a service provider but as a strategic ally in a complex global environment. Risk, compliance, and creditworthiness are no longer isolated functions — they are now central to growth, reputation, and resilience,” concludes Mr Kringou.
