Infocredit Group was named winner of the OEB Cyprus Innovation Award 2022 in the Services Sector for the design, development and implementation of the eCheck360 Open Banking Platform. The award ceremony was held on Friday 16 December 2022 and was presented by the President of the House of Representatives Ms. Annita Demetriou, in the presence of the Deputy Minister to the President for Research, Innovation and Digital Policy Mr. Kyriacos Kokkinos, the President of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) Mr. Antonios Antoniou, and Dr. Nikolas Mastroyiannopoulos, Chief Scientist for Research and Innovation of the Republic of Cyprus. The eCheck360 Open Banking Platform is the first platform that fills the gap of a common credit rating system in the European market, allowing companies to evaluate their customers’ creditworthiness, affordability and behaviour in real time with machine learning and artificial intelligence. Fully aligned with GDPR and PSD2, the platform enables financial institutions and other companies to offer tailored products and services that fit each customer’s credit profile, with every investigation requiring the customer’s consent to the processing of personal data.

Infocredit Group received an honorary distinction at the 7th Corporate Volunteering and Voluntary Offering competition, organized by the Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council, held on International Volunteer Day at the Presidential Palace. The distinction was awarded by the President of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Nicos Anastasiades to Managing Director Mr. Theodoros Kringou. The competition recognized companies with good practices in corporate volunteering and voluntary offering during 2021 and the first half of 2022, supporting social, environmental, cultural and other positive-impact initiatives aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Infocredit Group was honored for its long-standing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and its contribution to organizations aiding people in need, including the Cyprus Autistic Association and the ELPIDA Foundation for Children with Cancer and Leukemia. Infocredit Group was named winner in the “Private Companies with more than 50 employees” category at the Business Ethos Awards 2020, hosted by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) in collaboration with the Cyprus Integrity Forum. The ceremony took place on Friday, 12 March 2021 at the CCCI premises. The awards recognize public organizations and businesses that contribute to the fight against corruption and enhance transparency and accountability through their operations. A five-member Evaluation Committee assessed entries, including Odysseus Michaelides (Auditor-General of the Republic of Cyprus), Marios Tsiakkis (Secretary-General of CCCI), Marios Skandalis (Chairman of the Board of Directors, Cyprus Integrity Forum), Ierotheos Papadopoulos (Head of the European Commission Delegation in Cyprus) and Philippa Foster Back (Director of the Institute of Business Ethics, UK). PwC sponsored the awards.
